I look to make sure my linux laptops have open firmware these days. System76 has been my go-to for a while for that. But I really like framework's concept, so I've been considering going the FW chromebook path\n\nUnfortunately the one really nice thing about Chromebooks is they all support coreboot and if they are on https://wiki.mrchromebox.tech/Supported_Devices it's the easiest way to get a relatively nice modern laptop that will properly support suspend states in Linux.",
