A seemingly unknown spot to many that’s far less famous than its illustrious northern cousin Bardenas Real, but is arguably even more spectacular.
Reminiscent of the scenery in classic spaghetti westerns, there’s a good reason why - many of them were filmed in and around that part of Spain as opposed to in Texas or its surrounding areas.
If you’re in Spain, this area is rich in megalithic history too, in fact it’s home to some of the oldest human settlements in the Iberian peninsula.
