The legacy BDK v0.30.1 crate release is a patch for a regression in Electrum syncing introduced in 0.30.0.
"This release also officially deprecates the `bdk` crate, please migrate to the new `bdk_wallet` 1.0.0," said the Bitcoin Dev Kit team.
The project will continue to publish bdk 0.30.x bug fix releases as needed, but only for a limited time.
BDK is a a modern, lightweight, descriptor-based wallet library written in Rust.
