zasm - Z80 Assembler – Version 4.4 — https://k1.spdns.de/Develop/Projects/zasm/Documentation/index.html - fails because it doesn't write correct Intel Hex files, and the author is curiously belligerent (and incoherent) about why they ignore ORG statements
Currently resorting to DR's CP/M 2.2 asm under emulation, how's your day going ...
