It’s November 2032 and hashrate starts increasing in preparation to harvest the giant on chain fees which will be paid to move Bitcoin around for tax and accounting reasons before EOY. Mining pools have become political tools and some unsavory transactions require high fees to incentivize rogue miners to take the risk and mine that block.
