Note that I intentionally left out the word "children" in my post. That's another facet to this story. The right is constantly weaponizing children in their ideological war, saying they are "saving" and "protecting" children, and that everybody else is "grooming" and "indoctrinating" children.
THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CHILDREN.
Their fight is literally heteronormality vs queer. There is nothing in what they are fighting for which is age-dependent. Just anti-gay, anti-trans, and anti-queer.
