Introducing PCVARK and their malicious ad blockers
Research by npub1q94eqat20yhc9sm7xjkswpn45yrta22qru9wac8ua7566exa9z8s9gtm7y (npub1q94…tm7y) showing that 1) not everything found in the #Google Web Store is "safe" 2) not all adblockers are created equal. These "adblockers" injects JavaScript into visited web pages and attempts to phone home user browsing history.
Generally, stick to using #opensource adblockers widely trusted by the #privacy community, such as uBlock Origin and Adguard.
