I have a catch-and-release policy for insects in my house. Last night there was a weird thing like a wasp, but with its thorax and abdomen connected by a long stalk and it was so freaking aggressive when I'd trapped it with a glass and a piece of card that I almost threw the whole contraption out the door. I fully expected the little fucker to turn around and start beating itself against the screen door in an attempt to get vengeance, but fortunately it flew off. The stuff of nightmares!
