i sort of gave my opinion earlier, but the “show” of things has severely overshadowed the competition and the spirit of what the games were supposed to be all about back when the modern games were founded. It was supposed to be just people who liked to run, or jump. And then when the games were over, they would go back to the regular lives. We’ve made a professional class of people whose only job is to see how fast they can run, or how high they can jump.
