5th Seed 2B (Nier: Automata) VS 28th Seed Emilie de Rochefort/Lili (Tekken)
Remilia VS Hina sure has turned out to be way more interesting than I expected! Will tomorrow’s match also surprise us?
2B proved something of a disappointment last year, but she still boasted Elite strength, and with the likes of Samus and Remilia stumbling in their opening matches, the android girl with the A+++ ass might have an easier path to the tournament final than it initially seemed. Her natural strength is second only to Samus, and even with anti-voting taken into account, 2B should be hard to stop, at least until her potential quarterfinals encounter with Pyra.
2B’s opponent is however hard to gauge strength-wise: she performed poorly in the Qualifier Poll, but DOMINATED the 6-way Tiebreaker poll, which among other girls included Etna, who recently performed so well against Samus. Lili also wrecked the other Fighting Game Girl to make it into this tournament, Chun-Li. A cute, blonde beauty who can kick some serious ass, Lili’s appeal should however extend well beyond Tekken players.
Also, Drama Niggers probably remember how Adam Racewarski used Lili to defeat Jim Metokur in Tekken 8:

Interestingly, Lili and 2B are the Waifus of DRC’s Great Leader and the man hosting DRC on his home servers respectively, so this is something of a DRC civil war we have on our hands.
