Until Mitch McConnell tells us what's going on, people will speculate. I've seen some suggestions that he has Parkinson's disease. If that's the case, then there is really no reason for him to resign. But he needs to tell the public what's going on. It would also be nice if he’d stop being a terrible person, but that's another issue.
