My bank wouldn’t let me initiate wire transfers larger than a certain amount without going into the branch in person, but i noticed there wasn’t any limits on internal transfers between my own bank accounts. I ended up distributing the money across several of my accounts, then wiring out the maximum amount from each individual account into a currency exchanger account for consolidation. My bank’s anti-fraud department was like what the fuck, but getting my account unlocked over the phone was still faster than going into the branch and doing a wire transfer in person 🤷♂️
