I’ve talked about Nihilism being pervasive in the 21st century before.

And I consider Bitcoin a cure or at least one such cure to this nihilism.

But something I hadn’t considered until recently is that Bitcoin nihilism is very much a thing.

I think I experienced it myself from 2015-2020, the first five years of my Bitcoin journey.

You have significant hope this thing can change the world, you see light at the end of the tunnel…

But you’re still stuck in the fiat mines, still relatively poor, still staring out at world that’s growing darker and more troubling.

Doubt creeps in, “am I delusional? Is everyone else right? What if I’m wrong?”

Many get pulled back into this sinkhole of nihilism.

Often people don’t feel deserving of the future wealth they are set to receive. So they self sabotage.

You have to resist that pull. You have to rise above. You have to actively become the person who is meant to shoulder this immense responsibility.

You can’t continue existing as old shitty you + Bitcoin. It doesn’t work. Too much dissonance.

You either claw your way towards an abundant future, or slide back into nothingness.

The hero’s journey awaits.
