Hi folks,
time for a little introduction now, I guess.
New here on bsd.cafe but for more than 4 years on fedi.
German with scandinavian roots from the low lands north-west of Hamburg/Germany.
By day I'm working in the social/pedagogical/educational sector with children and teenagers endangered of social deprivation, physical and psychological violence in their families and environment.
Nerd for the rest of the time.
Started with computers on an Atari800XL, then active on Amiga 500 scene. Linux user since Kernel 1.1 and finally looked into the *BSDs for the last year and happily using FreeBSD now as my main desktop OS. Started to toy around with OpenBSD, too.
Coded and contributed to "UADE - Unix Amiga Delitracker Emulator", a music replay engine of Amiga music files for *nix.
Always curious to tinker with soft/hardware. Into FOSS and Opensource.
