Ok, built out a proper Word Processor / Writer Deck.
I used an old Dell Inspiron 11 (P24T) with an 11.6" screen.
It's running a headless Ubuntu server instance with autologin.
No wifi. Save to hard drive or to usb. Drop to Bash command line to mount manually and transfer files for now (thought i want to figure out how to mount automatically in future).
Boot time is longer than need be with a lot of needless programs starting up. But I bet I can lean that down and speed up boot time.
Uses Tilde as the Word Processor (https://github.com/gphalkes/tilde)
