Certain characters have pets in Taliesin. Maelgwn and Arawn both have dogs. The latter treats his like actual pets while the former just keeps a pack of dogs to fight for his amuesment.
Branwen has a collection of birds who are more her friends than owned pets.
In Jib's tale (Lilatia), Kyla has a giant silver dragonfly whose just the most snuggliest, wuggliest, shweetest dragonfly in the whole world, yes she is, oh yes she is!
