So, #Threads is very smooth & fast (even more so than npub1rk3rclnu49dha37t55qjuqcvued69lgu52p7hpj9dp2ku5j4vwtssp43sg (npub1rk3…43sg)). Basic things like profile views + replies work as one would expect (unlike #Mastodon, unfortunately). But in terms of content it is all influencers flexing their travel and fashion, plus brands desperately wanting to be associated. I can’t find anyone interesting.
I’m sure this is partially because I don’t use #Instagram so have no ready community, but it’s a superficial turnoff. I actually prefer #BlueSky.
