Years ago, Alberta irrigation license holders had to begin reporting water use through an online system and I was one of them. Two years ago, I sold and transferred my water license to a community downstream for drinking water. It was nearly a one year process. Today, I got an email that instructed me to enter MY water license into the digital system. Just in case you thought someone in charge of 80% of the water in Southern Alberta knew what they were doing. OMG! Horrifying!
