It doesn't feel quite right to wish everyone a happy new year without acknowledging that there are so very many bad things happening in the world right now. I realize that 2025 may go very very badly for a lot of folks. So when I say "happy new year!" I really mean:
May 2025 be full of joy, love, health, comfort for you and your loved ones, and may we collectively somehow find a path out of the dark.
