Most people in fascist groups are inveterate cowards whose thirst for violence they most easily and commonly feed by attacking targets that are isolated, ignored, and already under threat from the state and mainstream society, and moreover are unlikely to get any concrete assistance if actually attacked.
If they are given any sort of material pushback, surprisingly many of them will just outright fold over.
Trying to "reason" with them, however, is bound to fail.
