the russians were the only thing that kept the armenians alive in the last war, supplying their forces and drawing a line in the sand versus the US and israeli supplied azerbaijanis. the azerbaijani actions would appear to be them assuming that the russkies are tied up in syria and ukraine atm (seemingly correctly) and putting that western support back to work. so yeah azerbaijan succeeding against russia and armenia should be good news for ukraine
the iranians made some statements to the effect that they'd support the armenians but who knows how it'll shake out
