This is America. We got nazis everywhere. See, the far right is a culture of enshrined bullying, tribalism, and essentialist bigotry. Distill it a little and you get fascism.

Fascism is culturally morphogenic. It self-replicates like Bad Ash from Army of Darkness. It preys on people in subcultures who feel alienated.

The parasite fascism latches onto these hosts — who, in a way, are victims of fascism, too — and tells them: "not only are you NOT a loser, you're actually BETTER than other people. What people? Jews. Black people. The gays."

This is a progressive infection, like MRSA. It starts with a boil and ends in death or amputation. A big trick of fascism is the way it denies being fascist. That zit will never admit that it’s actually super-staphylococcus. This is why fascists are always deflecting by comparing irrelevant sociocultural markers of the host culture, rather than wanting to talk about fascism itself. Example: Nazis are "supposed" to be white and straight. Andy Ngo is Vietnamese and gay, therefore he can't be a nazi. Hogwash.

Just as Bad Ash couldn't be reasonably equated with Good Ash any longer, the parasite fascism is not actually its host. It's a parasite. Just like Bad Ash, when it reaches the same strength as its host, it will try to kill and replace Good Ash. Good Ash has to act fast. Hate to break it to you liberals and fence-sitters, but there are gay nazis. Black nazis. Furry nazis. We even got Jewish nazis like Chaya Raichik. FASCISM IS A SHAPESHIFTER.

There's only one way for Good Ash to deal with Bad Ash, and if Good Ash fails, then his former community will have to do it for him.
