I'm all for cultural norms where a "win" isn't considered a company (temporarily?) rolling back -a few- of its most egregious privacy violating practices after huge public outcry/mocking and a dip in purchases
I'm all for a world where companies that do that -even once- go belly up quickly.
Because they all KNEW what they were doing.
They WILL keep pushing boundaries.
They don't respect users/customers, they are focused on profit.
Fuck that.
