you're really leaning into the whataboutery, evan. yes jewish populations were expelled, but they were resettled in israel. arab states didn’t “refuse” palestinian refugees, they hosted millions. as for the "diversity" of israel, it's still an ethno-national state by it's own definition. nothing erases the fact that over 700 000 palestinians were expelled in 1948, and millions are still denied the right to return to their homes under israeli law.
