Back in the days the UK had pound coins that were big and heavy.
One day, I came into LAX from the UK and I had spare change in my pocket. Some jerk nearly hit me with a car as I left baggage claim.
So I grabbed one of those pound coins and hurled it - I may have cracked his rear window - and I vanished into the crowd.
It was the best money I ever spent.
