An interesting piece as to whether ProtonMail is checking recipient email addresses against keys.openpgp.org and automatically using GPG/PGP if it finds a suitable key.
(Personally, I love that ProtonMail makes GPG/PGP very easy; I understand that it doesn't suit everyone.)
