the one thing I love most about it is that you don't have to "believe" in it for it to be effective. unlike Western "docs", where I was in constant defense mode questioning their approach and "solutions", with acu /TCM, I let myself trust that I'll get helpful aid. that alone makes it better. ymmv.
yes, it's not perfect, but any medicine so tuned into "subtle" signals and seeking to restore balance is just more likely, imo, to work _with_ your body. that's the win, in my book!
