Hmmm, I wonder why autonomous projects are choosing closed surveillance-capitalism platforms like: Meta, Instagram, Discord?, etc.?
Assuming the choice is the convenience of getting up and running on the above closed platforms - would it be helpful to put together a reference page of guides and tools useful for organizing efforts?
Pointing to tools that fill their needs like: Riseup, Autistici, or Fediverse/FOSS stuff?
Guides like - best-practice steps to setup a website? etc...
Or it could look something like https://prism-break.org (pretty outta date, but a great reference design) which was a really helpful resource immediately after the Snowden leaks, that was shared around, pointing ppl to alternative, non-surveilling software.
