This 21st Century translation of the Scriptures into English is the ***most thoroughly honest*** translation I've found thus far in my near-decade long quest of grumbling in writing about the egregiously bad choices made by Bible translators:

When I found the 2001 Project and began to spot-check key words and passages, I was both surprised and pleased to discover that the translation has already addressed many of the issues I've written about in "The Bible Curmudgeon" series linked just above.
While there are still improvements to be made, I take heart when I consider that it is the explicit policy of the 2001 Project not only to continually improve the translation, but also to accept suggested improvements from ANY SOURCE as long as they are well supported by good linguistic scholarship. God willing, I hope from time to time to offer input for the translation's ongoing improvement.🙏🏻😁
