I find it a bit creepy when you partially fill in a web form but then decide against it and then a few days later the email address you feel you never really "submitted"* receives a "special offer" code from the business. I don't really feel like at any point I "opted in" to them storing my email address for further communication. Must go look closer at that PureGym form.
* But there may have been a clickthrough in the form.
OTOH, special offer code... I'm not entirely uninterested, damnit.
