I watched a Trevor Nohah stand-up show yesterday and he surprisingly and succinctly laid out one of the most important and frustrating aspects about American politics. We get hung up arguing about unimportant red herring issues the wealthy press owners put forth like which gender or pronoun we are and which public bathroom we can or can't use instead of fighting to fix the most important issues like this and other economic issues they don't want us to focus on.
