We already know that the Trump administration is trying to mold the US forces to be as sympathetic to them as possible. But here's an example of *exactly* how fragile Vance's ego is.
An email that hardly anyone was going to see or care about... now international news. And it wasn't even really anything against the administration - only a mild difference of opinion.
But Vance (and Trump) are so threatened by such a minor statement that they've put political pressure to get someone removed from post.
