Late yesterday afternoon, Laura's sister was taken off her ventilator. Her kidney function had gone down to just 2% and her husband and children made the decision to have her removed from the life-support machines. Linda passed away peacefully a half hour later with her mom, Laura, husband and children by her side.
Her fight with cancer and then Covid is over and she is now resting in peace. She will be dearly missed.
This is all so surreal for everyone who loved her.
Please hug your loved ones and let them know you love em.
Also - please go and get wellness exams regularly, and if you are of certain ages where certain important health screenings are recommended, please go and get those taken care of for yourself and for those who love you.
