The way I imagine it, the app is a static-site generator. There's no CMS installed on a server, the *app* is the CMS. You give it the FTP details for your server, and it just publishes the RSS feed.
And then you can follow and read RSS feeds in the app too.
Theoretically, it could support short posts too, because it's just an item in the RSS feed.
