Interestingly, one of the first big announcements from our new government is the promise of a raft of reforms to the planning process to be announced in the next few days.
One answer to what will Starmer do in the first 100 days, is try to sort out the mess that is planning, with the hope that this has been a major impediment to productivity growth, the green transition & house building
But, changing the rules/approach will take some time to play out.
So, good to do it first?
