List of things for survival preperation: Water, water purification method (or rain catchment), Food, the means to cook/eat the food e.g. a rocket stove, .22 rifle with lots of ammo (brings more food), 1oz silver coins, duck tape, rope, swedish fire steel (for cooking that food), wool blankets and wool clothes (they stay warm when wet), field medical manuals with common medicines, first-aid kit, flashlights and radios that do not require batteries (e.g. crank), everything that you would take backpacking, common tools (hammer, screwdriver, crowbar, hand crank drill, nails, screws, etc), compass and magnifying glass, toiletries and a plan for when they run out.
