I like this poem by Ali Bin Al Jahm. An Iraqi poet (800-863).
"I wish she knew
I wish she knew that I don't remember her
For how can I remember her when I have never forgotten her
To she who thought that i don't remember her
And God knows that I never forgot her
If she disappears then in my soul is where she stays
How can the heart forget the one who lives in the soul"
A song version of it here by Faia Younan (Arabic):
