Seven years ago, when I first learned about Bitcoin, most people referred to it as "online money." However, the more I researched, the more I realized it was far more than that. I read the Bitcoin white paper in December 2017, and to me, it felt like an anarchist-taoist manifesto, offering immense power to individuals. Calling it simply "online money" seemed overly simplistic. For years, I wondered if I had misunderstood Bitcoin. Now, after using platforms like Nostr, I see that I understood it correctly from the beginning.
I am so happy to be here.
