because the universe happens to be ordered and to be ordered it has to be ordered in a way, whatever that way is is what is good, and whatever isnt destructive and us coherent to it is good, everything else is bound to be contadictory to some other not central thing, its bound to be lessened by the larger encompassing order

eventually everything gets widdled into that order
there are plenty of contradictory things but they are less common and they are bound to contradict in few rather than many ways, because they are varying from that order that already exists, and because they are varient they are likely to be self destructive in someway because them doing well is part of that order in the first place, this is why before evil and before insanity is just plain deformity and disease or stupidity, the whole structure fails in some way before it would be some other competing thing
