So: we have the technology. We can protect your DNS privacy. Which web browsers are actually doing that?
To find out, I created an open-source automated test that mimics DNS eavesdropping. Each browser is told to visit a (fake) website with a unique name it has never seen before, such as
http://awbkquhcp.privacytests3.org. Then a common tool, tcpdump, listens for DNS requests that are being leaked by the browser unencrypted.
