The CDC has announced new precautions at airports, including testing for all travelers returning from Rwanda in Africa and nearby areas, due to a virus currently spreading in the region.
The virus, known as Marburg, is raising concerns among health authorities because of its lethality and the fact that there is no medical treatment or vaccine against it. “It is about a virus that causes serious and ongoing illness.”
