Unless you have some obscure machine...
Beginner, and just do basic browsing, word processing, and chatting type of stuff - Linux Mint.
Comfy with using PCs, want room to learn more and get more advanced - Manjaro.
Gamer, with an nVidia card and don't want to fuck with it - Pop OS.
Reviving old hardware? The XFCE version of the above (except Pop).
