Last night I stumbled upon a broken remote that I planned to reverse engineer. It has a 8051 knock off with a 2.4GHz transmitter built in, but that's less interesting than this little chip right next to the 8051. Care to guess what it can be?
I know the purpose of the chip, but couldn't find an exact match on Chinese markets. I can tell you for sure that it has SPI and it's not a microcontroller :)
The first to guess the purpose of the chip correctly will receive a photo of a cat as a reward!
