I bought root cutting last fall and have had these growing in the spare bedroom since then. Planted 3 about 2 weeks ago. All seem to be doing well.
The good news is that if you have to be that lives, you’re better off than 95% of the population.
You can also dig up the live one in the fall and divide it into several.
