Does seem possible to reduce scheduling, reallocate and refresh training to maintain some services - what came out of the MCAS fiasco was that they design the MAX to minimise type certification for pilots.
I know Boeing is taking the PR heat on all this, but I’d imagine airline needs to maintain revenue. Unless FAA is telling them that the ban will be lifted shortly.
I do wonder what else Boeing messed up on that type, though.
