Bloody magpies are pulling out the tiny (newly planted) annuals in our local Floriade bed. Around 200 pulled out in the last few days alone, which is about half the total. They're just doing it for fun, leaving them on the surface unharmed! Two of us put them back in this morning and then we covered it all with netting. Buggers are still pulling them out, through the netting. Major intervention planned for tomorrow, with all the troops on deck... a plant prison!! 🤞
