However in the US, the majority of IUDs are done by mid-levels who do not have OR time blocks or privileges. \n\nThe physician shortage is becoming worse so this is not a problem that will improve. OBGYNs see 20-40 patients a day in clinic in the US. Cutting down clinic hours isn't possible, and most already work over 40hr weeks with very high burnout rates for doctors.",
