Just remember that many leaders (not all) are often just figureheads/spokespeople. Puppets/borderline celebrities. Actors even! (there’s history there - Reagan / Zelenskyy / Schwarzenegger etc). Those with real power are the hidden senior civil servants advising them. Not sure about the US, but in the UK they don’t even change from one administration to the next. Scrutinise them.
