Went to a different dog park today, met a couple with three small dogs. I said hi and asked how they were doing, and they seemed more friendly than my recent experiences at a different park.
Wound up chatting with the guy for half an hour. I'd be shocked if he wasn't ND because it was surprisingly easy to chat with him.
He told me he had the same experience when he moved to Vancouver 10 years ago - that folks tend to stick to their cliques and generally aren't outwardly friendly
