For the #woodworking Mastodon, does anyone know why is taking me forFUCKever to send down my door to raw wood. I don't have a lot of clues but here is what I can gather:
Clue A: there was oil paint on the door that I removed with a heat gun
Clue B: the solid part of the door is easier to sand, the 3 thin panels take the most time
Clue C: I think the panels are plywood but don't quote me on that
Clue D: I'm using an orbital sander and delta sander. At the beginning I started by usind 120 sandpaper but now I work with anything between 40 and 80.
Clue E: I belive I'm on week 2 or 3 of sending, it doesn't seem like I take that much of the material.
Clue F: I tried using acetone to go through the leftover paint and the dark wood layer but with no luck
